Directions
- Thouroughly cream shortening, sugar vanilla.
- Beat in eggs, then chocolate, melted.
- Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt; add alternately with milk.
- Chill 3 hours.
- Form 1-inch balls; roll in confectioner's sugar.
- Place on greased cookie sheet 2 to 3 inches apart.
- Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees or so) for 15 minutes.
- Cool slightly; remove from pan.
- Makes 48.
